Because God gave us life. From the moment we were conceived we became an eternal being. The life we live depends on who we follow (or not follow). Lord Jesus was the only God Who died for mankind. Seeking Him and following Him gives eternal life with great benefits, starting at the time we believe and accept Him as our Savior. So when contemplates suicide they first need to seek God and ask Him for help. He is the only God Who knows our pain because He stepped down from His Throne to become like us, in the flesh. His suffering is to make us whole again in spirit, souls, and body. Man created religion when all God wants is a relationship with us like He had with Enoch, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Just because one may not believe in Him doesn’t mean He doesn’t exist. He does. Just look around. All that you see is His creation. And He never asks for money. Those are tv evangelists using their power to rip people off. True Christian pastors, like Jack Hibbs, don’t ask for money. That’s how you can tell a real pastor from a fake one.

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs but when God has revealed Himself time and time again (Parting the Red Sea has been proven true; Noah’s Ark has been found; historians like Josephus proven true; archaeological finds have proven that the Bible is true. Like I said, religion is man made and trying to get to God. The Christian faith is knowing God came to us to save us from our sins and from this wicked world that Satan has corrupted.
Your prayers weren’t answered because they didn’t align with God’s Word. He is not a genie that grants wishes. He is God that wants us to have a blessed life. That’s what Deuteronomy 28 & 29 are about. Being ignorant of His Word gets no one anywhere. It’s only when we come to Him, beat down and broken hearted, that He lifts us up and shows us how we should be living (since we are His creation it’s only a wise thing to do to live as our Creator wanted us to live).
Offing yourself because of pain doesn’t make the pain go away. It prolongs it and there is never any relief. It’s nothing but eternal death.
Kidding about Him a isn’t funny. Pride and arrogance keeps one ignorant. Those are the two things Satan uses to keep people blinded to the truth. I used to believe when I was a child ... I also believed in Santa Claus... but when I prayed for things to happen (like getting down and dirty with that hottie in grade 8!) and I was ignored ... I began to question. Hell - I even began to question Santa even though he delivered the goods every Dec 25 (mind you I never prayed to my parents to deliver a hottie... so there is that)
