At this point those that get it, get it. Those that don't likely never will.
Whatever happens next, the first thing that people will protect is their money. It's sad, but the choices are going to involve death. But if there's no post-death hope for people, besides "reincarnation" and crap like that, then it works.

If one's faith is in the only person ever to rise from the dead, AND, more importantly, ascend into heaven, then hope exists.
For those arguing that Christ did not exist, apart from the fact that their mortal enemies behind ALL of what's going on today have as the centerpiece of their "value system," that he did, does, and is, as they attempt to subvert him as their ultimate goal, then OK, but then there's no hope for anyone. So nothing lost either way.
Rev. 20:7-9 is playing out as we interact. The fundie dispensationalists awaiting a "rapture" and some mythical earthly kingdom are among the most misled demographic. The 'kingdom' is spiritual, not earthly, as Christ stated plainly that his kingdom was NOT of this world. He stated nothing indicative that it eventually would be, to the contrary.

Weird how that's playing out in real time. Rasmussen just polled by religion and atheists are breaking 80% for Harris.
Of course.
Christ the person is not religion, nor is it organized or formal.
People trying to equate them are as wrong as the others.
