Not what I was saying. You had child murderers, mass murderers.

You had cowards. You had some that tried to help in little ways.

True. And the saying "Hitler was democratically elected" is somewhat misleading when spoken by Americans, who have a two-party political system. Weimar Germany had a parliamentary system, with many different political parties. The highest percentage of votes that Hitler ever received, in the numerous elections in which he ran for office, was about 39 percent of the total. However, the percentage he received in the election after which he was appointed Chancellor was barely 33% of the total. He was only appointed Chancellor due to sustained political maneuvering among the elites who believed they could control him and get him out of office in short order. As we know, they were dead wrong in their assumptions about him.

I was engrossed reading about those that saved, or tried, to save Jews... Raoul Wallenberg was beyond my comprehension.and those that tried to kill Hitler.

Col Stauffenberg again, stunning.

There were 15 attempts on Hitler's life, from fairly early on.

The more serious ones, whereby you also had to plan to attack his security forces, were unimaginably hard.... logistics, recruitment, getting explosives, unexpected changes in station of your key men

Valkrye movie.. the painting..and the man will be hung.... I am committing high treason. Are you in?

A stunned officer, after regaining, Anything Sir. Anything at all....

These Germans soldiers and citizens who risked their life were men and women of highest order.

Yes, Claus von Stauffenberg was a heroically brave, saintly man.

The book titled Killing Hitler, by Roger Moorhouse, published in 2006, describes in great detail the most prominent of the many plots to assassinate Adolph Hitler. It's astonishing how many serious assassination attempts there were, how close many of them came to succeeding, and at what terrible, tragic cost to the many people who attempted to carry them out.
