I hear in Australia after the gun grab, home invasions rose dramatically. They're just sitting ducks over there. In my humble opinion, people are risking an awful lot to remain unarmed, unable to protect their families. Do people really believe the bad guys are going to give up their guns? Where did common sense go?
My father was a good man. He taught me many wonderful things and loved me always and in all ways. But one thing he impressed upon me was that there is real evil out there. I think when people do not understand this, they are at a great disadvantage.
The world needs to rethink its mindless belief in Hanlon's Razor: "Never ascribe to evil that which can be explained by stupidity." Hanlon was either an idiot or an enabler of criminals. The insistence on this dogma is what excused Dubya's lying about wmd in Iraq, and setting up the false flag attack on US soil to take us there. Hanlon is now trotted out to try to excuse Biden's unconstitutional and illegal acts. 'Well, you see, he's senile, so it's okay.'
And poison sprayed from the wings of planes. If it doesn't come from the engine, it is not a con(densation)trail; it's a chem(ical) trail. I lived in open sky country in northern New Mexico and I could see that when they sprayed the straight lines they would unfurl into fake clouds over the course of a few hours. I wrote an international petition while Trump was still president and it doesn't even have 300 signatures and after countless videos, explanations, $ to promote it, and so forth, so I don't think anybody really cares about poisoning. People don't want to believe it. After I'm dead(I'm 66) 30 will become the new 80 and young people will have Alzheimer's from the aluminum that's included in the chemical spray. My petition is still up on change.org, by the way. The US Air Force is culpable, which is why I directed the petition to Trump. As commander in chief, he could tell them to stand down.
the truth is the Australians have more guns now, just no semi autos, when the govt. staged the buy back they made a big deal of the numbers handed in but the one photo that the press published showed a tipper truck having dumped a full load of guns in a heap on
closer inspection 90% of these guns were fully wooded WW1 era 303 lee enfields aka
relics, i believe most of the semi,s would have been buried, you can still own guns in
AUS you apply for a license pass a security check pay the fee, when we had our FF here
in NZ our gay PM held a buy back to get the semi,s it ran for 9months with the police
paying out market value for each weapon surrendered, in the meantime they done an
audit on gun imports, gun sales etc and determined there were X amount of semi,s in
the country. they released a report a few months after the buy back ended they determined
they had recovered 13% of all semi,s in NZ. btw the "shooter" in Tasmania Bryant had the
mental capacity of a twelve yr old was 30k,s away at the time of the shooting, this was
proven to be a clowns in america FF gun grab with the full knowledge of john howard
I've had a coworker who didn't show up to work one monday morning. When one of our employees was headed her way, he stopped by to check and make sure she was okay (this was a rural area). She was lying in her driveway with her throat slashed. At a residence near Seattle (good neighborhood), a neighbor told us that shortly before we moved in, the gentleman living in the home next door crossed the street and started pounding on the other neighbor's front door, saying he "needs to use their phone" at 1am. The refused to open the door. He smashed it down, and they shot him. At my current residence (rural midwest), an elderly neighbor suffered a home invasion, fighting with the intruder. He died the next day, apparently of a heart attack resulting from the struggle. I'm under no illusion that the ability to defend my family from criminals is very real. The need to defend from forces in our own government looks to be far more dire at the moment.
For those with concerns about mass shootings, do some research on SSRIs. School shootings didn't start until this class of drugs was unleashed, and the vast majority of shooters have taken them. For some strange reason (perhaps that Pfizer alone accounted for 71% of TV advertising revenue last year), this seems to be a forbidden subject in this country.
Back when our government was somewhat less corrupt and more functional, it was actually illegal for pharmaceutical companies to advertise prescription drugs. I forget exactly when that law was repealed (maybe mid 90s?), but the change coincided with the idea that unleashing the private sector would make healthcare cheaper, and a whole slew of laws intended to do exactly that. Strange how that's about the time healthcare costs in this country started shooting for the moon.
The BIBLE. The Magna Carta. The US constitution. Amazing documents of liberty (obviously only as good as the the population they serve!) And then there’s the Canadian charter which sadly is basically toilet paper.
It is not a gun ownership problem. It is an unfolding burgeoning national crises of potential mental stability, a consequential resultant of destructive federal actions, recent societal trends, main media perpetuation of all negative, and consequences there of.
It is a serious misdirection to focus on the gun. Focus on the causes. Causes which when accumulate can destroy a mind.
Recall events of the last couple years. Draconian actions taken to combat Covid, mandates resulting in economic, business, family and individual disasters. There has been the rise of many new cultures, many disruptive causing serious contentions and even hatred. Examples include re-born and enhanced racism, Critical Race Theory, cults of cancelism, wokism, transgenderism, LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning), misinformation labeling, anti-constitution, anti-nation founders, anti-free speech, anti-law enforcement, blessing of property destruction, political and sexually skewed indoctrination of young children, and so on. The effect of these is cumulative, more so on young, not yet strengthened minds.
To blame people for simply owning guns and use that to disarm is a calculated pre-meditated plan to disarm. Period.
"Support Life, Oppose Death",as a general rule.......but never fear to harm another in a just cause. Responsibility is recognition of the effects you are creating. Decide for yourself, you will have to live or die on your own actions. Time is Short. Know as much as you can to decide without regrets. All the best.

It ain't that common anymore. By design.

You better pass this on to your children it’s a real thing

No, it's not okay.
Yes! And I should have said, "I think when people, and COUNTRIES, do not understand this, they are at a great disadvantage."
flouride in the water among other things

The gun grab will fail miserably here. Perhaps that is precisely the point.
I wish we could stop the big pharma advertising on tell lie vision. Like term limits, I don’t see how.

Thanks, I couldn’t remember when it started. I was trying to blame Obama but it was earlier.
Psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin has been a lonely voice of sanity in the area of drugging our children for years.
I first heard him on Coast to Coast AM a long while back. Now Steve Bannon features him regularly on *War Room* on Real America's Voice network.
The 2nd was created to protect Americans from a tyrannical Govt. Period. Dr Naomi Wolf has an excellent Substack today. Well worth your time.
So was the 2nd guy.

In total agreement with 2nd smartest.

Logic is so frustrating.
Yup. You probably don’t need to say more.
