Each of us has to dig deep and find the courage to stand up to tyranny in our individual lives. We perpetuate slavery by what we give our assent to. It ends when we refuse to comply.

This is wonderful. Please substack it. Or print it on a t shirt. We are addicted to handing out power to worldly ‘saviours’. Me too! Believe it. My spiritual walk is withdrawing investment from all my ‘saviours’. And there’s been a lot of them. It’s terrifying to trust God. To REALLY trust God. But this is maturation. The assumption we all have power to refuse to comply is suggesting people starve or become societal isolates by saying no. It will mean inviting people to die. That is a very personal choice that ultimately rests in Gods hands too xx
