The information about mRNA was out there before the vaxx came out. The FDA had all the "potential" side effects on the their website in the fall of 2020-- that page has since been memory holed.
Everyone has a cell phone and could have looked up this info. The only people I give a pass to are the elderly, and their relatives should have told them about it. But they didn't do it. Because they were too lazy? IDK. Maybe.
To me, it seems like people just gave into the fear and accepted the word of the snake oil salesmen because it made them feel less scared.
If people had been that amenable they would not have had to mandate, vilify and generally scare the pants off. The Lockdowns were key. People may do anything to escape confinement. There were many more, particularly hail and hearty youngsters who would not have touched the poison otherwise.
