Well put. Key point: "One has to continually ask Why/How/Who..." In other words, maintain an open, discerning mind - throughout life.

Correct, but few actually do that. As Americans we've been trained, as part of our "media education" and as part of the demoralization process, that we can be/do/achieve whatever we want to, as long as we "believe it."

It's moral relativism at its finest. It's generally permeated our society.

One slice of that is that successful people in one endeavor of life, think that they know everything. Forbes put out an article, I think it was Forbes, several years ago or so, about that very topic. People with money/wealth, regardless of how they got it, think that because they're wealthy, typically made in a professional field, that they know everything about everything. (my paraphrase)

Obviously that's not true, but try to tell them that.

Even today, one would think that people are far more open-minded than they are, but that's still not the case. The narratives that have been drilled into us, per above being primary, and the ramifications of them, they seem to refuse to accept. It's impossible to make progress until they do.

THAT'S what's holding us up today. That and the focus on the goodies, trinkets, and consumer goods that their system has us hooked with.
