Drug companies make most money on cancer drugs in earlier lines of therapy, as the patients live longer. I’ve had 2 friends die this year from cancer (blood, breast) in their early 50s and both died within weeks of diagnosis. There was no chance to to do much treatment.
Not sure this is going to boost pharma profit as much as they hope.
