My son taught himself math, computer, and logic after H.S. Now a professional.
I really think the worse part of public schools was removing more and more of the parents involvement. Adderall and other drugs were forced on the child. The teachers literally became drug pushers. I told the principal it would be easier to just give the teachers Valium.

As we wean the government off of taxes, I'd like to abolish all taxes at all levels of government except a sales tax. I want people to see how much they are being taxed with every purchase they make. A sales tax would also enable a person to avoid paying taxes by producing their own stuff and being self sufficient. Of course getting Congress to agree to sales tax only is probably not going to happen. It would have people complaining about government spending and the politicians would no longer be able to buy votes with the people's hard earned money.
Typical government where spending a trillion dollars results in next to nothing other than to make the thieves very rich. Pull this weed and 100 more will pop up.

Face it, this piecemeal shredding of the government will not accomplish much overall and cause more surly leftists to burn more things. The entire DC Swampweed needs to be pulled from the roots and the Swamp plowed over and replanted with trees and a non GMO corn field.
In other words, the idea of government has got to go the way of the dodo. It will never be for the people.
