I agree with most of what Larken has to say but not everything, that's for sure. I think that the LIMITED government the founding fathers enshrined in the Constitution would be fine. But it is IGNORED continually by those who swear to uphold it. For instance, and of course Larken can't answer this. How would we go about dealing with roads? I have a good answer, and that would be use taxes. You use them you pay for them. How would they be collected and how would we keep the funds from being miss used? We need to get back to the common law. DO no harm. That is the common law.
Have you never noticed that in the present political system in the US, legislation that does not benefit the little squatter state does not get funded. No exceptions.

Yes, I did. All of them should be prosecuted. You don't need government to build or maintain roads. It can all be done on a private basis.
