We got to watch what the dose of supplements are. We can't just pop a vitamin D pill. A lot of supplements on the market is mostly made of fillers (material that has nothing to do with the vitamin.) The actual dosage of vitamin is low, very, very low. I'm talking a pediatric dose. So low it doesn't help you at all. Also I have been told some supplements, like vitamin D, have to have vitamin k for your body to absorb the nutrients. Also what company makes the vitamin and/or what country is the company from. A lot of our vitamins come from China.
You should get tested tested for your vitamin D blood value! In my opinion it should be above 50 ng’s and mine is about 70 ng’s and I take 5000 IUs or the equivalent of 125 mg of vitamin D daily. Yes, many of the prescription drugs are coming out of China and India and are of questionable quality.. that’s because the drug manufacturer is looking for the lowest cost of the active ingredients, and is not paying attention to the quality! Yes.. Vitamin K plays a role in the metabolism of Vitamin D to it’s active form! Unfortunately the medicine man keeps ignoring the testing for D deficiency! Why is that?

Kale stems are bitter and you have remove them and then massage the leaves with olive oil! Too much work in my opinion!😀
