it is a revolving door for financially strapped americans. they receive snap benefits and wic, which they can buy the worst food, which in turn gives them "lifestyle" diseases, which in turn sends them to the doctors and hospitals which taxpayers also pay for. wic used to be very strict but now you can buy a lot of crap. it's very sad looking in most american's shopping carts. they only entities who benefit are the corporations which all of us are subsidizing to the tune of 114 billion dollars a year directly into the pockets of grocery chains. that doesn't include the medical cost. it's an insane system.
