Someone pointed out somewhere the other day, when the pervs in Sodom acted, they were only after the "men" (aka angels) not the kids, but today they're doing horrifically satanic things to children as young as newborn.
I read somewhere that the thinking behind it is that the younger people are the more pure that they are, and the more pain that satanists can extract from them, the more that they "get back" at God and Christ. To say "sick" is to sorely understate it.
