Shortly after I moved here I read how farmers destroy the edible goosefoot that grows here abundantly with pesticides to grow cotton which needs lots of pesticides as well. If they harvest young goosefoot, to eat raw, then the older to eat as spinach, then the seeds to ground up for meal, they would have 3 harvests from one plant they need not buy and need not fertilize or spray with poison !
