The quarantine lawsuit was won on the grounds that the regulation “violates the separation of powers” not that it violated basic human rights.

Wake me up when a lawsuit is won against oppressive measures on the grounds that human rights were violated.

Basically they’re not saying anything was wrong with the regulation, just that it wasn’t enacted properly. This means the decision can’t stop the “proper” government entity from enacting something similar.
