I know for a fact that horse paste ivermectin works in humans. I used it, myself, to get over Covid (Delta) in 2 days back in '21. It DOES taste nasty, though. If you're going the vet meds route, might I suggest the injectable cattle version? (Take it orally.) Much less nasty, and about the same cost per dose. (The little bottle costs more upfront, but it has many more doses, too.) And you'll have better luck dosing your dogs with that, too. No idea if something in the paste carrier is bad for dogs, but yes, dogs can take ivermectin. It is in many OTC heartworm pills for dogs. Again, if you can get the cattle injectable version, the only carrier is saline, so it would not, could not, harm the dogs.
