This is a start, but I would also like to see a shift away from the sacred/secular argument and more towards the law speaking up about the protection and sanctity of individual bodily autonomy and sovereignty, no matter what the religious persuasion (or not). The right for every individual to draw the line at the rape - medically or otherwise - of their bodies and minds by any other entity, has to make a forceful and unequivocal comeback. The church is a vital place of sanctity in times like these, and belief has kept people strong against those who would take away our freedoms, but every person should be able to count on the law to protect the inviolable borders of their skin, cells, and minds.
