The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to hear a bid from Bayer-owned Monsanto challenging thousands of lawsuits claiming its weedkiller Roundup causes cancer.
Wife got non-hodgkin’s (NH) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma after using Roundup during spring and summers for weeds. This lymphoma attacks and substantially destroys the natural immune system, lowering both red and white cells as well as Hemoglobin down to almost nothing with pain and nausea. Months in critical care and chemo. After two years treatments, now remission. Claim against Monsanto filed with class action in 2019. Zero progress. The court simply ordered the EPA to “reexamine its finding” (that glyphosate does not cause any serious risk). Guess what the EPA will come back with. ‘We reexamined and found no problem’ OK.
"This is a full spectrum soft war with Bayer being just as vital a node as the likes of Pfizer are." Yeah, in more ways than one.
For several years (2002-2018), Monsanto was owned by Pfizer, and during those years -- besides the huge numbers of injury lawsuits -- they did business the Pfizer way. Monsanto was caught cooking their books to inflate profits (fined $80M by the SEC), and they also ghostwrote studies supporting glyphosate's safety which were published as independent safety studies by others. They also had numerous former employees serving on the FDA and the EPA.
For those who don’t know, Bayer was part of a chemical company consortium that manufactured zyklon b, a cyanide based gas used to kill Jews in WW 2 gas chambers.
This decision while "good news" like today's gun decision may be a distraction/don't-care at this point. There's lots of chilling news about economic collapse in Sri Lanka, bank "holidays" in China, imminent famine and WW3, etc. Mike Adams also reports the US may run out of diesel engine oil in 2 months, which alone could cause SHTF.
The big news is, even if regulatory bodies bless your with approval YOU MAY STILL BEHAVE WITH NEGLIGENCE. However, big pharma also has a layer of legislative protection when it comes to vaccines
"the decision undermines the ability of companies to rely on official actions taken by expert regulatory agencies". Sure wish that were the case. 'expert regulatory agencies'. They mean former and future employees on the take.

So sorry about your wife.

Gee. What a surprise.

Cancer is awful, and it's not the only bad result.
For those who are aware that the world's bee population is dropping off, there's a new study out that points to glyphosate as a big factor.
(Science, "Glyphosate impairs bee thermoregulation," unfortunately behind a paywall)
Maybe AOC was right when she said the world will end in 12 years. Her mistake was on how this would happen.

Glad their paid expert's opinion did not prevail!
Yeah!
