i listened to TWIV during the pandemic (i still do, but less as they are hard to take) so i heard interviews with Peter Daszak. this guy really thinks he needs to search out every possible pathogen on earth (even those that would never infect more than the 6 people who got hired to wade into remote bat caves), bring them back to crowded urban centers, juice them up in labs to see how bad they could possibly get and then save the world (from what would have never been a problem if he had just left it alone in the first place) with miracle vaccines.
when he got back from his "fact finding" WHO trip to wuhan, he admitted that he wasn't allowed in the lab but he met with "the bat lady" outside. she said she had nothing to do with Sars-CO2 and that was good enough for him.

Very mind boggling. The only thing I know for sure is that the same players are always involved together for what we previously assumed were unrelated things. There is always a lot of taxpayer money involved and the players always come out with plenty, while the rest of the world suffers.
