Mass non-compliance equates to knowing how to take care of oneself outside this economic/social system. This takes time. Start now.

We can't expect to be an effective force against the machine if we are dependent on it. I think we work for the machine to gain the necessary funds but then use the discretionary income to build resilience that can operate despite of their dictates. My first general recommendation is to own a bit of land free and clear of debt, or make a deal with someone who has...

easier said than done, but would sure make it simpler to avoid contributing to/being reliant on the Machine.

I'm still paying on my (ugh, in city limits) property, but food production is in development, as well as plans to come fully off grid once my financial resources allow.

True. This economic/social system is all prevailing with close to everyone being indoctrinated into the system from youth on. There has been an effort to eliminate the peasant lifestyle for centuries upon centuries, the elite who benefit by wanting most people to work for them is evident.

But now its not as easy being in the system...

I'm in the city limits too and am concentrating on growing food. Spare time other than this addiction devoted to another property out of town and harvesting the commons. I've been at it for a decade with purpose and yes this takes a lot of money & time. The general choice is go on vacation, out to eat, experience all types of entertainment, or build resources up.
