Leftist policies are miserable and ineffective and we’ve all gotten a good taste now … even real idealists are caving a bit. I have a close friend who woke up at the start of covid and a few others who have taken minor verbal stands against fascism (these were hard core blues before but now willing to discuss the failures of their nasty leaders … for example, these people voted for Joe Biden but openly support health care CHOICE and FREE SPEECH … they were pushed too far into their own corner and they don’t like it there). If the election results were correct and we were about half blue half red Nov 2020, we are a bit more red than blue now and getting redder still. The whole gun control gamble smells like desperation to me and I don’t know that it will work. The aim is obviously suburban women but those same women have had their children assaulted at school with a lot of ugliness from SEL to CRT … there are many blue to red converts among suburban mothers. How many red to blue? Gosh I’m going to guess next to none
