It was actually passed by parliament, and has been in the Upper Chamber - the Senate - for the past 2 days. They usually rubber stamp legislation but they've been in hot debate over this issue. The turdeau is actually "leading" a minority Liberal government and for this vote he was propped up by the NDP, which is a very leftist labour-union friendly party. Instead of siding with the workers, they voted with the turdeau and showed they have no connection to the foundational beliefs of their party as they prostrated themselves for this abomination.
I'm not sure what turned it in our favour, but I wonder whether the backlash was felt by the NDP leader: I saw photos his constituency office, plastered full of shaming messages...the people are pissed off. It was wonderful sight!
Trudeau said the “threat continues” but the acute emergency that included entrenched occupations has ended. His government invoked the powers last week and lawmakers affirmed the powers late Monday.
“The situation is no longer an emergency, therefore the federal government will be ending the use of the emergencies act,” Trudeau said. “We are confident that existing laws and bylaws are sufficient.”
“Will be ending”…what a weasel! As another commentator pointed out, they have already altered some laws to allow social credit score financial tyranny to truly begin. So it’s the old “look here, not there” strategy once more.
The run on banks is what changed his mind. Banks are SCREAMING about the loss of deposits as accounts are closed, money transferred to the US, withdrawals being made in the bank and ATM's running out. The loss of confidence in the Canadian markets just went through the roof.
