Sorry, but Paul (aka Saulus of Nero) was not only a citizen and agent of Rome, he was a descendant of King Herod's sister, Salome. After the crucifixion, he was one of the leaders in hunting, trying and executing Jesus's followers. He went on to subvert the teachings of Jesus and his disciples to create a new religious philosophy and teachings that suited the political exigencies of Rome: there was no longer a need for Judeans to obey and follow the Laws of Moses, they could eat whatever food was sold in the markets and men no longer had to be circumcised. It was immediately after Paul attended a meeting in Rome that the Roman legions were sent in to sack Jerusalem and destroy the temple.
Thank you, Lord God, for your apostle Paul.

With apostles like that, who needs enemies?!
