These protests are similar to the medical freedom movement: there are a lot of bad actors behind both, but that doesn't mean that both movements aren't potentially important and long overdue. The bad actors will undoubtedly use them for their own ends, but that doesn't mean that they have to win. People who know better would be more effective by communicating what's really going on instead of hurling moronic, infantile invective at them, virtually guaranteeing that the protesters will see the side of reason as a bunch of angry looneys.
