Is this the orgin of fiber optics and laser technology? I recall visiting Roswell and the UFO muesum, where the director told me a few people have a remement of the foil hull that was very thin like aluminum foil, except it could be folded up and when released would again go flat. Meaning the metal molecules were in alignment and had tensile strength. All just sci fi baloney? Who knows the truth? Speculation is that at Wright Patterson airforce base, they have secret facilities where the Roswell UFO was taken, along with the bodies.
I was told similar story by brother of air force pilot. He added that part of the reason they didn't talk about it was because it would impact the notions of religion and god.
The best moment in the old UFO Hunters show was when they prepared samples for the old Roswell farmer to touch to see what material it was that reformed its previous shape after folding - it was acetate. The old farmer got freaked out because it was EXACTLY like the 'alien' scrap. Acetate was used in the sensing balloons that were sent up for nuclear detection purposes. That farmer's reaction is all the evidence needed to debunk that story. And it is all recorded for anyone to see.
Poor old Bill Birnes was bumming bigtime as the only BS story not totally debunked was now being totally debunked in front of his eyes. Gotta give him credit for still airing that episode, even as his pet career project was debunked in his final series.
But that moment is priceless, as it completely shredded that stupid roswell lie forever. On video, if you see it, you will never believe the alien lies ever again.
