I like Johnny Depp. I like several of his films, and I read a few interviews with him and about him. No one seemed too upset about him. He was partnered for a long time with a French singer,Vanessa Paradis, but when they separated, he seemed to be going downhill quickly. I don't believe he can be as bad as this person says. But then, I don't know him personally. If he is addicted to drugs or alcohol or both, from experience I know these people are hard to live with. I think trials like these should be kept out of the media at all. They are personal vendetta.
Paradis came to his defense, as did every single person in his life except this Heard character. He never hurt anyone as per all of his former love interests and friends.
But Heard has previous domestic abuse cases. And she is suffering from a mental illness that essentially has no cure. It's hard to put into words how dangerous BPD people are.
Also, during today's testimony, Heard claimed to have cuts on her forearms and feet and that she was penetrated with a bottle "over and over" again, yet the person that was constantly recording Depp has no recordings of any of these claims. Expect Depp's legal team to thoroughly question her along these lines.
Regardless of who did what and why, there is no need to have the whole nation watching it. I only have seen clips on Russell Brand but my sense is that there is not much sincerity either side. I haven't seen any msm media coverage, so I don't know what they're saying - Russell definitely seemed faster to let Johnny off the hook than Amber, because he seemed to relate more as an addict. I used to like Johnny Depp and I still like him better than Amber but the real issue for me is that this is none of our business. Domestic abuse needs to be stopped and its root causes addressed and no one should shit on the bed on purpose. This is common sense. Questions like how can be reduce domestic violence for all people are more important than everyone's opinion on what exactly happened. The whole thing seems more a mass distraction...it is shoved in my face so much I wonder if they were both recruited to act it out in front of us, regardless of what happened.

We should be watching the Ventavia trial instead.
