I like Johnny Depp. I like several of his films, and I read a few interviews with him and about him. No one seemed too upset about him. He was partnered for a long time with a French singer,Vanessa Paradis, but when they separated, he seemed to be going downhill quickly. I don't believe he can be as bad as this person says. But then, I don't know him personally. If he is addicted to drugs or alcohol or both, from experience I know these people are hard to live with. I think trials like these should be kept out of the media at all. They are personal vendetta.
Paradis came to his defense, as did every single person in his life except this Heard character. He never hurt anyone as per all of his former love interests and friends.
But Heard has previous domestic abuse cases. And she is suffering from a mental illness that essentially has no cure. It's hard to put into words how dangerous BPD people are.
Also, during today's testimony, Heard claimed to have cuts on her forearms and feet and that she was penetrated with a bottle "over and over" again, yet the person that was constantly recording Depp has no recordings of any of these claims. Expect Depp's legal team to thoroughly question her along these lines.
Regardless of who did what and why, there is no need to have the whole nation watching it. I only have seen clips on Russell Brand but my sense is that there is not much sincerity either side. I haven't seen any msm media coverage, so I don't know what they're saying - Russell definitely seemed faster to let Johnny off the hook than Amber, because he seemed to relate more as an addict. I used to like Johnny Depp and I still like him better than Amber but the real issue for me is that this is none of our business. Domestic abuse needs to be stopped and its root causes addressed and no one should shit on the bed on purpose. This is common sense. Questions like how can be reduce domestic violence for all people are more important than everyone's opinion on what exactly happened. The whole thing seems more a mass distraction...it is shoved in my face so much I wonder if they were both recruited to act it out in front of us, regardless of what happened.
Like everyone else, you are hypnotized by psychiatry and the DSM, which is assembled by shrinks on Pharma payroll. This thing is aptly labelled by some as “the billing bible.” Those diagnoses you quote have little meaning. Amber is a b@@@@ and a liar. Depp is a drug addict who can’t get out of bed in the morning to kick that woman out. It’s a pitiful deal.
"Having had direct experience with a Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) partner"
My experience...
My amateur psychiatric skills would suggest: borderline personality disorder, multiple personality disorder and bipolar disorder.
This girl was hot as hell and I fell in love with her in a second. Then she ruined my life and turned all my friends against me (fortunately, like someone with a brain after a first Pfizer "jab" they all came back).
In her "hyper" phase, she was the most loving, kind and compassionate person I have ever met.
In her "depressed" state she was the most psychopathic nutcase I have ever met.
Too much information stop reading now alert:
We had "sex" on Ecstasy on one occasion and we never actually had sex. It was Tantric sex and I unironically had several FEMALE orgasms just by looking at her upper lip. I asked a bunch of girlfriends after her what a female orgasm felt like and what they described was perfectly consistent with what I experienced (possibly the only good outcome of this disastrous relationship!). I never had a "male orgasm" during this, and I didn't need to. It was insane.
Regular readers of my comments may press X to doubt on what I'm saying, but you haven't heard the half of it. My life has been insane. I wish I could make this shit up.
Forgot to add...she was a genius. Trading to be a Vet, she already knew it all. She ate my Microbiology and other pharma/biology student friends for dinner in scientific arguments.
Probably 140 IQ. Plus gorgeous. And funny. And amazing in bed. What a waste.
I feel for you having suffered a relationship with someone with this type of illness. They truly are despicable human beings, are tremendously cruel, and impossible to love. Mr. Depp is a decent, loving, and flawed human being, like most all of us. People see the truth. He has already won.
I was thinking BPD...glad you caught that and switched the acronym. Those with a PD can wreck havoc on families and institutions, while leading everyone else who deals with them to think they are special OR crazy.

We should be watching the Ventavia trial instead.

While the DSM is mostly bs, there are in some cases, let's call them, descriptions of behaviors that line up quite well with reality on the ground.
Also, as per DSM it is exceedingly difficult to treat BPD and from anecdotal experience that is dead on.
Of course, the DSM is more about pushing drugs and never-ending shrink sessions, and yet we use it as a kind of pop psychology reference.

She was, as you may have guessed, an orphan.
I saw bits of the British trial and was shocked when the judge ruled in her favour, she's obviously a bpd
Holy cow!
At least she didn't call him "Dickie."

It's BPD with MPD as co-morbidity. My PTSD from the BPD caused the typos ;p
