well yes, their diet is excellent! when i loved in NYC, we got all our food from a Weston A Price food co-op that had contracts with 3 amish family farms. we got all our meats, eggs and raw dairy from them. my fridge was full of plain containers, marked "pet food only" or "not for sale." the food was all spectacular and my health certainly improved.
i spent a weekend with one of the families which was great.
