However, its opinions on Constitutional matters CANNOT be over ridden by Congress; only by an amendment to the Constitution.
R v W is not a law bc it is outside the limits of Constitution and as such the opinion is not Constitutionally binding, irrespective of what SCOTUS or the "law" is considered.
