I think that is probably true for the most part. The other part is the people who are "doing it to protect others" AKA virtue signaling. I also know a lot of people who say "everybody is different- some young healthy people have died". I am pretty sure they are getting that from the media.
Because people are STUPID and do not think for themselves.
