My act of noncompliance came this morning when I called my health agency in response to the letter I got saying I was due for a colonoscopy. I asked if I would have to take a covid test and the lady said yes. I have never and will not in the future let anyone shove a swab up my nose.
What happened when you refused the test? Did they let you opt out and still get the colonoscopy? I don't understand how it can be legal for them to force anyone into testing in order to get access to healthcare. This is very concerning to me since I'm at that age when I need more of these screenings.

I am infuriated that they can hold this over people. Our "health care" system is broken.

Later, on the morning of the surgery, when reading through the admission paperwork, I noticed it stipulated that I agreed to allow them to give me even non FDA approved drugs - if I signed off on the document - and that they could keep any of my tissue to use at their discretion without any notice whatsoever of their intent or findings. I asked what if I refused to sign the paperwork to agree to those things. They told me I wouldnāt be able to have the surgery at their facility. I left. That was Blake Memorial in Bradenton.
I found a private practice doctor who had a private surgical facility to do my surgery. Iād asked in advance if these things were required and was told no, so went ahead w the surgery 2 months later. Funny thing was, every member of the staff there was injected twice.
