Same with my lil chiweenie. We lived out in the country, I was a single mom and so she never went to the vet. Now I’m remarried living in the city and I just keep her inside. Hubby insists on getting shots for our 8mo golden doodle even though his last dog (our dog but he had before we married) died of lymphoma at only 8!
The only vaxxines my cat had were prior to adoption from the pet shelter when she was 9 months old. She is now 18 1/2 and in excellent health.
