I want to add a word of caution on the ivermectin use on dogs. There are certain breeds that can't take Ivermectin. After a tumerous cancer removed from my Cocker Spaniel;s shoulder, I started him on Ivermectin since he had some additional lesions over his body which the vet was concerned about and wanted to remove them. I opted for the other option but I did not have any FenBen at home. Over a 2 day period he showed signs of disorientation, running into things and just not settling down so I took him off the Ivermectin while I researched online and found that my gut instinct was right. Here is the link I found. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/heartworm-medication-side-effects/

I then ordered the fenben, curcumin and cbd oil and started him on that. Almost all the additional lesions have since shrunk to almost nothing or disappeared altogether. I have him now on a fenben maintenance of once a week for a month and then 1 month off. So far so good.

I read that ivermectin was also not-good for collies.

Has anyone treated their cat with ivermectin?

No cancer, but hypothyroidism and stage 3 kidney.

Will not eat kidney diet.
