The "no virus" and "rebranded flu" advocates like to claim their theories make Ivermectin advocacy absurd. However, I read it is the body's over-reaction to viruses like Covid or the flu that Ivermectin allegedly moderates. We might ask why isn't Ivermectin used routinely for the flu?

It hasn’t been been widely promoted as an antiviral medication until recently. It has been widely used as an anti parasitic medication though for decades. Now that the word is out, I suspect we’ll be seeing more prescriptions for a variety of viral respiratory illnesses. I just prescribed a course of it yesterday for a woman with fevers, chills, fatigue, body aches and sore throat. We should know in a couple of days if it’s working.

My point is that "killing the virus" is not the most important feature of Ivermectin, it is moderating the the body's over-reactions.
Or any other virus?
