I am surprised that the NHS recommendations concerning “global warming“ did not include any recommendation to use EVs, the best of which are manufactured by Tesla.
Oh, wait, never mind, now we are burning them instead of mandating them. How 2024 of me.

As for sending patients home from the hospital ASAP, my 87-year-old mother was sent home from the hospital about two weeks ago, prior to finishing her course of antibiotics, which she was directed to do at home. Without any kind of monitoring or skilled nursing care. Well, guess what: she ended up back in the hospital for over a week. Thankfully, she has a very strong constitution, and a good genetic history, so she is now recovered and in a rehab facility to rebuild the muscle that atrophied over the prior couple of weeks. I am absolutely positive that both the financial cost and the “environmental impact“ of my mother staying in the hospital for another two or three days on her first stay would have been far less than what ended up occurring. She is but one example out of literally millions worldwide.
Yes, there definitely is an attempt to kill off the most medically vulnerable people in our society. It is a completely utilitarian model, wherein people that are no longer of any use to society (as defined by a bunch of narcissistic sociopaths, mind you) are eliminated. Well, we can’t throw them in cattle cars, and bring them to gas chambers (which, after all, also isn’t very environmentally friendly), it has to look a little bit better than that, but the end point of all of this is pretty much the same. There is no compassion, no decency, and no humanity involved, which factors are supposed to be exactly what we show and do for the weaker members of our society, most particularly the elderly, who are responsible for the very lives and well-being of those in the generations younger than they are.
I really hope that there is some payback for these people in the afterlife. because it doesn’t look like they’re going to get much in this world. They richly deserve it.
