I think it would be better if he were repurposed... maybe forced to work side by side in the lithium mines in Africa to see firsthand some of the evils he as created. Then he can learn to operate a bulldozer to help dig out huge trenches in landfills to bury the blades of the wind turbines. Just a start.
But he is only doing what any of us would do when our 'paper wealth' is faced with a return from where it came from - fresh air. He is buying hard assets as fast as he can because he, like all the apparent wealthy are running scared.
They are scratching around to find a solution to what they know will happen soon - another financial crisis - which will likely see the whole lot disappear pronto. So call it evil if you like but I see it as those with the wherewithal to claim the lifeboats first - Titanic redux. Human nature never changes.
