However, my dentist who saw me during those initial weird symptoms did not become ill. In a small meeting room with 5 others only one person in the furthest seat from me supposedly became mildly affected. But her chronically sick, hospital visiting young son did get ‘Covid’ pneumonia.
Perhaps the toxic shut off the immune system to allow for secondary pneumonia. It’s often what kills with influenza, the secondary bacterial pneumonia. I knew one 50 year old who died during 2017-18 season as she succumbed to strep throat while fighting the flu and developed sepsis. (That season the flu killed 57,000 in UK. Higher than from Covid IFR).
