I'd argue with the assumption/statement that Covid is "six times more deadly" than the typical flu.

Per my research, this novel virus is not any more deadly than the typical flu for probably 99.9 percent of the people infected with this virus.

For example, 60 percent of the crew members of the USS Theodore Roosevelt and French Aircraft carrier The Charles deGaulle tested positive for Covid antibodies. 41 percent of the crew of the USS destroyer the USS Kidd tested positive via antibody tests or PCR tests. That's more than 4,200 sailors who had been previously infected, per these diagnostic assays. Of this number, only one crew member (allegedly) died from Covid. That's our real Infection Fatality Rate for Covid for the middle age and young adult cohorts. The flu IFR is 1-in-1000 deaths (0.1 percent). The Naval vessel IFR is 1-in-4,200.

The IFR for Covid for people I personally knew/know was approximately 1-in-800 infected people later dying. However, the Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) for people I personally know/knew who are under the age of 70 is 0.00000 percent. I don't know anyone under the age of 70 who died from Covid in the past four years.
