From my understanding it's the LNPs that cause alot of problems, because they used pseudouridrine (?), instead of uridrine (?) to keep the mRNA in the LNP wrap. I don't know if this part can be re-engineered and still have them LNPs not break apart too early.
It also seems that the S protein, should not have been used. Most vaccines are made with portions of the body of the virus, IF I understood the articles correctly.
