Flu disappeared for the most part during Covid. The official explanation for this claims the mitigation practices of the last two years slowed down the flu. Hmmm.. If thats true, why did they not slow Covid? They are claiming Covid is more contagious than the flu?

The Covid current variants are even more contagious. If, as Eugyppius claimes тАЬmany viruses simply canтАЩt surge if others are activeтАЭ Why is this year different with a flu wave vs the last two?
At this juncture, it is still early in the game. In the U.S., flu season usually peaks between December and February. It could peter out/be overcome by a COVID variant by then a la eugyppius' theory. Or, if you prefer Geert Vanden Bossche's theory, we will be overwhelmed by COVID this winter. I don't know ~ just waiting and watching.
Yes, we shall see. If Australia is any guide, as it usually is for the first wave of flu, we should be hit. In addition to the schools in San Diego and VA which are already getting clobbered..
Yes, how interesting that there was no flu during this time. We only had covid. Hmmmmmmmm, everything smells funny here. Did the flu take the last two and a half years off? These murdering thieves have to dealt with now.

SARS-CoV-2 is "more contagious", so it outcompeted the flu.
But not this year? Why?
Here's one theory that makes sense to me, but time will tell:

Hardly anyone tested for flu during that time. Can't find what you purposely don't look for.
My thoughts as well.
