Correct response, I think. We are not obligated to guess the correct interpretation of who did it or why they did it. There are two opposing candidates (broadly speaking) and maybe more. The potential for this being a false-flag operation is significant.
We only need observe the facts, as best we can, and gradually come to a common agreement about the facts in evidence.
I am not saying that hypothesizing about motive ('cui bono'), means and opportunity are not important. Historical forensics (what some disparagingly and discouragingly call "conspiracy theorizing") is indeed important work of an attentive Citizenry.
The pattern will emerge. Actually, it already is emerging. There is no need for hurry.
Tyrants always fall, a toppling made all the more sure by their own height and weight.
