I come from a family of hunters and fishermen. We only hunted to eat, never for trophy. Year's later I decided to give up hunting and sell my riffles. My neighbor and fellow hunting partner, Mr. Mao ,said to me. " Sonny boy, you better keep at least one rifle ". Why?, I said. Mr. Mao said. " Because, one of these days someone is going to be at your door demanding all the food ". That was in 1975, a looong time ago. I kept one rifle and sold the rest to an RCMP Officer. He was quitting the force after 15 yrs of service, because he knew that the really tough times and violence were coming. It might not happen tomorrow or years from now, but it will come. So, here it is. Be prepared people. Don't give up your firearms. Stock up on survival gear and food. Meet and join like minded people that aren't a bunch of crazy lunatics. Always remember.
