Me? Unless something miraculous happens with my employment situation, I’ll likely be homeless by the end the of the year. I have honed my fire starting skills with flint and steel but not much else. Wanted to start growing micro greens but wife is not supportive and that has not gotten off the ground. We live in a suburb of Toyo and the yard we have is smaller than our car and most is perpetually in the shade. We grow a few veggies in the drive way, the only place that consistently gets sun.
Wife and kids are not at all of the believe that anything will possibly be different in the future and are thus not interested in any preparations other than for natural disasters.
You can make all the preparations you want but if you are not mobile, it will not save you. Their insanity will not allow them to abide the thought that even a single individual is not forced to follow their rules. They will come for you and no homestead is strong enough to fight them off. The only way is to stand together and fight them or live as a hunter/gatherer.
I am sorry to learn your family doesn’t support you in preparing, and your potential homeless situation. I agree that we must all stand together, otherwise it will be difficult to stand alone. Are you in Tokyo? We are in the U.S. The democrat cities will be burned to the ground. When the majority of elected officials are lawless, it’s not going to be good. We are in a suburb and have some land that benefits us. Also have aligned with some family and neighbors to stand together. As far as being mobile, we will fight where we are. I have a 93 year old mother I care for. There is no way she can endure any traveling to escape the nuts. Even what is happening in the Red Sea and the shipping attacks should wake your family up. If they only pay attention to a third of what’s happening, compared to prior years, it’s unprecedented with the attacks on farmers, burning of farms, killing lifestock, burning food processing plants, etc. shoukd alarm them.
They are oblivious to all that. The only way to survive this is to do as you have done and organize with your neighbors to aid and support each other, especially when the thugs, public or private, come for you.
What will you do?? When people are prepared there are no worries!!
